4/29/2024 0 Comments Smart sensor pro plus toolIt switches the IDs when glove box switch is pressed 3 times in three seconds. The Autel lets one set the main or 2nd set to be saved and now have both sets in the ECU. Had to let air out of tires to 15psi per the tool instructions (crazy). Ended up reprogramming the sensors with the ATEQ to the Camry settings where new IDs were generated. IDs from the summer wheels uploaded to ECU. The ATEQ & Autel identify the sensors under the Subaru BRZ settings not the Camry. These sensors were installed with the Konig rims. These are basically Huf-Intellisens 3040 universal sensors. Bought some 28103-CC000 sensors on Ebay that were supposedly compatible with the Subaru BRZ. Bought some Konig rims and Michelin Sport 4S. Autel does not identify OEM sensors under the Subaru BRZ settings. Autel identifies the OEM sensors under Toyota Camry 01/2020-12/2021 snap-in. It will identify the OEM sensors under Toyota Camry 2021 Alloy. The ATEQ VT37 does not identify the OEM sensors under Subaru BRZ 2013-2023 settings. Switched out the original tires with Conti DWS06 all season tires but used the OEM rims. Use a ATEQ VT37 for programming and Autel TS601 for relearn. And, again, using the TS508 via OBD2 to scan each set gives me the correct TPMS sensor IDs on the screen of the TS508. I need to drive the car to test all (tons of snow/salt on the roads currently) but the TPMS light goes out when I swap to the correct TPMS sensors by tapping the TPMS button 3 times (and doesn't go out when I swap to the incorrect TPMS sensors using the TPMS button). Unless you know your TPMS sensor ID numbers, the screen on the TS508 (when you scan via OBD) is the same for the 1st and 2nd set of TPMS sensor IDs (other than the sensor IDs). But when I scan for the TPMS data, there's no "2nd" noted behind the new TPMS sensor IDs. After programming with the TS508, 3 quick taps of the TPMS button in the glovebox of the GR86 indeed switches between set 1 and set 2 of TPMS sensors. Maybe there's a slight difference between the BRZ and GR86-or maybe it's because I'm using the (newer/"better") TS508 vs. All is now set and did work out in the end but it wasn't quite as smooth as the "ft86club" post notes. I used my Autel TS508 on my 2022 GR86 (to program the 2nd set of TPMS sensors using the noted 2021 Camry setting in the "ft86club" post). I just need to get the winter TPMS sensors IDs programmed as the 2nd set of sensors and then you simply follow the info in the owner's manual. I'd like to add a 2nd set of TPMS sensor IDs to my 2022 GR86 (winter wheels/tires) and then use the TPMS button in the glovebox to toggle between the two sets of wheels (summer and winter). Has anyone uploaded TPMS sensors IDs another way? Has anyone checked if the Subaru factory computer (at the Subaru dealer) can handle all for a GR86? With Autel TS508 tool not yet compatible, cloning their Autel MX-Sensor TPMS sensors to the OE sensor IDs isn't currently an option. I'm sure the dealer can handle it but my Toyota dealership is very far away. Carista doesn't (yet?) work with the 2022 GR86/BRZ. Has anyone had any luck adding a 2nd set of TPMS sensors to your car or changing the OE TPMS sensor IDs on your 2022 GR86/BRZ (for winter wheels/tires, track wheels/tires, etc.)?Īutel says their TS508 TPMS tool doesn't yet support the 2022 GR86/BRZ (and I can confirm that-my tool has the latest software and the cars aren't listed).
