Community Links Baldur's Gate III is based on a modified version of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition (D&D 5e) tabletop RPG ruleset. BG3 is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series. Also I think Berserker/Engineer would be a really fun duo, I love melee groups but you can do any combination you find aesthetically pleasing.A community all about Baldur's Gate III, the role-playing video game by Larian Studios. That's just my perception I haven't gone through with it but from what I've seen playing online. If I was going to cap a 2nd class It would most likely be the berserker, Berserker is fun in the begining, a little stale in the middle, and then gets really fun again in the late game. 2-Hander the opposite making him somewhat more independent. Main difference between the 2 builds is, the Shield Bash tank can generate his aoe shield(Force Field) more often for his team, can survive more dangerous situations but does less damage. Skills: Onslaught lvl 15 - Heavy Lifting lvl 15 - Supercharge lvl 15 - Coup De Grace lvl 15 - Heal Bot lvl 15 - Bulwark lvl 15 - Fire and Spark lvl 15 - Charge Domination lvl 12 - Force Field lvl 15. You will have 12 points left over that you can put anywhere, I put mine in ember reach this time but it wont matter for this build. Skills: Heal Bot lvl 15 - Sledgebot lvl 15 - Bulwark lvl 15 - Charge Domination lvl 15 - Shield Bash lvl 15 - Force Field lvl 15 - Immobilization Copter lvl 15 - Aegis of Fate lvl 15. I'm pretty experienced with engineer, and I can tell you my personal 2 favorite builds for it: Now one of the fun things about this game is following this meta you can pretty much choose any weapon and build and it will be very succesful, you have alot of choices from there but not all builds are as fun. All weapons in a family will have the same stat requirements for example All 2-Handed Polearms will require str and/or dex, add enough vitality to survive but not too much. And focus on the stats that your weapon of choice requires, choose a weapon that is for your class. For stats, it's first important to decide on a weapon you will stick with for the entire game. So whatever class/build you take it's best to take 1-2 attack abilities, one that is spammable, one with cooldown, and a bunch of passives and/or buffs/debuffs. Whatever you decide just keep in mind that you will have a total of ~8.8 skills to cap. It can do high dmg, it can tank, it can heal. The Engineer is the best stand alone character in the game.
